Andre Mining is an opencast mining contractor,servicing a range of commodity groups including Coal,Chrome,Gold,etc. At Andru Mining,we are committed to efficient sustainable mining that protects the environment and add value to both our clients and the local communities.

Upskilling and educating people,preparing them for current and future opportunities in the opencast mining environment,is of utmost importance to us. We accordingly have the 4(four) months Learnership Opportunities below,which will be based at Andru Mining’s Universal Coal site (Diepspruit) in Kriel, Mpumalanga Province.

LEARNERSHIP: ADP OPERATORS 

Applicants for this opportunity must meet the following criterion:

- Must have a grade 12/std 10 certificate or equivalent qualification.

- Priority will be given to applicants with previous operating licences and operating certificates,therefore mining operator experience will be an added advantage.

- Must be able to obtain a Certificate of fitness (red ticket).

- Must be local residents from affected local communities or surrounding farms as recognised by the mine,subject to verification.

- Must be able to pass Dover teat.

- Possession of a valid driver’s licences is compulsory.

- Applicant must be willing to undergo training during various shifts.

- Good communication skills and business understanding is essential.
