JOB TITLE : SENIOR SUPPLY CHAIN CLERK X2 

GRADE : B UPPER

OPERATION : DE BEERS CONSOLIDATED MINES (PTY) LTD - VENETIA MINE

PURPOSE AND ROLE IN THE BUSINESS: 

The candidate will be responsible for the execution of general Supply Chain functions in the Operations Section of Supply Chain Services at Venetia Mine. 

KEY RESULT AREAS: 

• Receiving, Binning, Picking, Issuing, Dispatch and Stock counting.

• As part of the Supply Chain team, perform on and off loading of goods received as well as deliveries to customers.

• Preparing standard documentation as specified for input and circulation.

• Maintaining an effective filing system for the section.

• Operates a forklift and/or delivery truck for purposes of goods delivery within Venetia Mine.

• Ensures confidentiality of all relevant documents within Supply Chain.

• Resolving Supply Chain related internal and external queries relevant to the warehouse.

• Data capturing onto the SAP MM system.

• Adherence to company policies, procedures and safety standards.

• Maintenance of good housekeeping in the warehouse.

• Accurate capturing and filing into the Supply Chain system.

• Submit supply chain related orders on the system and receive distribution by confirming the orders.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12/Std 10/N3 or relevant National NQF level qualification.

• Valid EC/Code 10 Drivers License. 

• SAP Material Management previous experience preferred.

• Previous experience in a Supply Chain environment will be an advantage.

• Ability to operate mobile equipment i.e. forklift and overhead crane.
