OPERATION :DE BEERS CONSOLIDATED MINES (PTY) LTD - VENETIA MINE

PURPOSE AND ROLE IN THE BUSINESS:

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Occupational Health team at Venetia Mine according to specified requirements.  

KEY RESULT AREAS:

•Assist with the monitoring of Hygiene stressors

•Occupational Hygiene and medical linkage on the QMED system

•Generating of persons job spec forms

•Preparation of samples

•Responsible for the filing system, archiving of files and the maintenance thereof

•Ensure proper coordination and confidentiality of all documents

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: (Education & Experience)

•Grade12/N3 or relevant NQF level 4 qualification.

•Practical or intermediate certificate in Occupational Hygiene 

•Valid EB/Code 08 Drivers License.

•Successfully obtain a Red Ticket (Medical Fitness Certificate) on mine.

•Your consideration for employment is subject to your SAPS Criminal Record verification and qualifications verification.

SKILLS/ COMPETENCIES:

•Computer literacy: Advanced proficiency of MS Office associated software and the ability to integrate   information from various software packages. 

•Knowledge of document control systems.

•Flexibility in working hours is essential.

•Ability to deal with multiple demands within a short period of time and retain composure.

•Attention to detail and good organising skills.

•Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

•Sense of accuracy and attention to details

•Good communication skills.
