Job Description 

The jack - Secondary Breaking is accountable for making certain that he/she drill, prepares, charge, high hang-ups and blast big rocks within the draw-points.

Qualifications 

Education required: 

• Grade twelve / N3 / Equivalent NQF Level four qualification

• Blasting Certificate for Underground arduous Rock / Equivalent Qualification

• needed classification as per VTS testing for specific role (Orange)

• laptop attainment - MS workplace Suite (Word/Excel/Power Point/Outlook)

• Valid EB/Code eight Drivers License

Experience & information required:

• Minimum of three years underground mining expertise of that a minimum of one year should have enclosed the superordinate skills of coming up with, organising, leading and dominant

• Sound information and skill of: 

- Underground mining practices and operations 

- Secondary breaking in SLC draw points

- Sub-level Caving/ Block Cave mining expertise

- Safety, Health and Environmental Legislation and standards applicable to underground mining

- large Mining (SLC & Block Caving) expertise (Advantageous)

Other requirements:
