Purpose
South Auto Electrical Pty Ltd is a specialized Mechanical, panel beating management, campany offering a comprehensive range of automotive services, within Africa is now looking for apprenticeship to take part in the 4 years Apprenticeship journey with them in the motor mechanics(petrol & Diseal apprenticeship, body repairs(panel beater) spray painter.

What do we expect from apprenticeship
- select and fil seals in fluid power application
- Trace and repair auto electrical circuit faults
- fit engine bearing and brushes
- Determine cause of engine failure
- test and adjust exhaust emissions gases
- repair manual transmission
- Diagnose and repair steering components
- Diagnose and repair engine management system.

Role requirements
The successful candidate must have the following basic 
requirements:

• Diesel Mechanic Trade Certificate - Section 13 / 26 (D)
• Minimum Grade 12 or N3
• English language proficiency
• Drivers licence code B, EB or C1
• Medical Certificate of Fitness
• Competent working in confined spaces
• No major sensory restrictions
• Must be familiar with risk assessment procedures
• Minimum of 2-3 years experience as a qualified artisan in 
TMM environment (advantageous)
Important to note
• Work standby, overtime and shifts
• Own transport

Key performance areas

• Engineering installations are constructed, repaired and 
maintained according to agreed standards, policies and procedures
Ensure that the process remains fully operational
• Accurate calibration of process instrumentation. 
• Effective systems for management control used
• Understanding of ISO quality systems
• Continuously analyse and identify opportunities to minimise 
wastage
• Ensure that safety regulations are adhered to
