As part of our human capital development strategy,we are offering bursaries to B.Eng or B.Sc.Engineering students and Chartered Accountants Training Programme.This aligns to address Transnet skills needs in support of the Company’s Market Demand Strategy.

Bursary Application ( Engineering)

Minimum requirements:

successful candidate must have the following basic 

requirements:

• Grade 12/N3 or equivalent at NQF level 4

• English language proficiency

• Drivers license code B, EB or C1

• Medium Voltage Competency skills (certificate)

• Medical Certificate of Fitness

• Comfortable working in confined spaces

• Not colour blind

• No major sensory restrictions

• Must be familiar with risk assessment procedures

Chartered Accountants Training (CAT) Programme

Key performance areas

• Engineering installations are constructed, repaired and 

maintained according to agreed standards, policies and pro￾cedures

• Continuously analyse and identify opportunities to minimise 

wastage

• Ensure that safety regulations are adhered to
