The Programme is carried out in secunda and sosalburg, as Apprentice you will train and develop to become qualified artisan according to the requirements of the relevant SETA, Qualifications Authority - MQA and National Artisan moderation board

APPRENTICESHIP

Chemical Plant Operations (AKA Process/Production)

Instrumentation and Control

Electrical operations

Fitting

Turning

Boilermaking

Welding

Rigging

Career opportunities

Artisan, Senior Artisan, Specialist Artisan, Master Artisan

Technician, Technologist, Engineer

Foreman, Area Manager, Operations/Maintenance Manager

Learning Practitioner (LP), Principal LP, Learning Manager, Senior Learning Manager

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

- Grade 12

- N2 National Certificate 

- Boilermaker/Plater Welder Certificate through a recognised institution 

- 0 years post Apprenticeship/Qualification experience

- Valid Drivers’ License

Advantageous (Skills, Competencies, Experience & Qualifications)

- Grade 12/N3

- Computer Literacy 

- N2 with relevant trade subjects.

- SA citizens studying towards these trades or fi elds without any other bursary obligation and with outstanding achievements are encouraged to apply.
