APPRENTICES x 6 - ELECTRICAL

The abovementioned vacancies exist in Bevcan Springs. The positions report to the Plant Trainer.

Key responsibilities include: 

 Completion of all required theoretical modules for the trade

 Undergoing intensive on-the-job training and other related training

 Providing support to the production process with adequate levels of availability and reliability

 Demonstrating the ability to practically conduct maintenance and installations

 Acquiring problems solving and trouble shooting skills

 Adhering to plant rules and regulations

The ideal candidate should possess the following: 

 Minimum Grade 12/N2 electrical engineering, with Mathematics & Physical Science.

 A good electrical understanding at a basic level

 Must be able to identify colours

 Basic computer skills

 Good interpersonal & communication skills, positive attitude, able to use own initiative, team oriented, 

systematic and well organized

 Ability to work overtime and shifts when required

- English language proficiency

• Drivers license code B, EB or C1

• Medical Certificate of Fitness

• Comfortable working in confined spaces

• Not colour blind

• No major sensory restrictions

• Must be familiar with risk assessment procedures

Key performance

• Electrical equipment maintenance and installation

• Supports achievement of production performance levels

• Ensure that safety regulations are adhered to
